With its most recent enigmatic establish hint, is Nothing Tease a Pokémon collaboration? Or are we just chasing our ( Nine ) tails?

  • Everything has posted a Pokémon graphic on its X profile
  • This particular personality is Arcanine
  • Shortly, novel devices are anticipated.

Everything is up to anything. The company is well known for using odd trailer graphics to stoke anticipation back of novel product announcements, and the most recent one has just dropped.

For the benefit of anyone who isn’t common with the Pokémon codex, it’s a pixelated photo of Arcanine. Given the violently protective nature of The Pokémon Company and its companion, Nintendo, it’s shocking to see a picture of a Pokémon, so perhaps this indicates an formal partnership between the two businesses. The excellent Nothing Ear ( a ) are already available in a Pikachu-like yellow, so perhaps an Arcanine-like orange is coming.

Or maybe what’s more substantial is either the quantity contained in Arcanine’s label, or the number of its location in the Pokédex.

What do the world cops think of Nothing’s trailer?

Over at Gsm Arena, they’re suggesting that the nine in Arcanine’s title could propose a item announcement on the 9th of February. Or perhaps its Pokédex number, 58, is the idea. The 58th day of the year would even fall in February, albeit slightly afterward, on February 27.

That’s the possible whens. As for the what, the smart money appears to be on the Nothing Phone ( 3 ) or one of the other two Nothing phones expected to launch by mid-2025 – with or without Pokémon collaboration.

The ( 3 ) seems to be the most likely one. A leaked inner letter stated that the company intended to introduce a “landmark” Ai-powered smartphone in the first quarter of 2025, which coincides with a February news, though we had anticipated a release at Mwc 2025 in March.

That’s the thing about previews. You can make them imply practically everything, but by their very character they reveal little. Or in this circumstance, everything about Zilch.
